Patricia Siderius

Patricia has over 20 years of experience in
career consulting, executive coaching and outplacement work.
She is highly skilled in planning and managing projects for
corporate clients and worked closely with human resource teams
to provide smooth transitions for employees. Patricia has
written scores of career change related programs to meet the
evolving needs of large and small corporate clients. Her
expertise includes individual and group separations,
downsizings, merger effects, corporate reorganizations, change
management, relocations and retention programs. She was one of
the leaders in planning for the only nuclear plant closing in
the U.S. with results which exceeded all expectations.
As an owner of The Derson Group, Ltd., one of the
original outplacement firms in the Midwest, she has
entrepreneurial experience in managing the operations of the
firm. Patricia had the opportunity to be a part of the
outplacement industry as it grew and developed. She set
standards for delivery of services, ensured quality, trained
career coaches and developed practices for premier executive
coaching services as she managed the daily operations of the
Firm. In 2004 The Derson Group joined SSP.
Prior to her career management experience,
Patricia worked at Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) in
executive search and human resources. Using her degree in
education she worked as a school administrator and teacher,
including establishing a school in a logging camp in Alaska.
She provides career coaching for senior
management and is skilled at helping clients make decisions
about what they want to do and in working with person planning
for a second career.
